I need LOTS of advice on this and editing/creating a C4D siggy.

Way to much of topaz, way to much of sharp.. Borders make it worse.

I understand the sharpen bit, but I use Topaz clean just once. Any ideas on how to reduce its "strength" ?

You can find all settings after selecting topaz clean. I recommend you to use CrispStyle.
Lower Accent to 2 or 3, threshold ~0,35. After you apply topaz, delete some
overflowed places or lower opacity.
